Hello and greetings to you all, my Raga-rootlings!
I have some cool announcements that I am excited to bring! First I would like to say thank you to the supporters who have been encouraging me. It’s been fueling me to continue and gives me much joy. I’ve been hard at work trying to continue to write on Darkness Succumbs and finally getting the ball rolling as I spit out chapters 12 and 13. It took a while to get back into the swing of things, so it will be a while before it is edited. I figure being able to just complete the last few chapters to get to the end was more important than flushing out the spelling and grammatical errors.
I also have finally gotten a few chapters of Beauty and the Nerd ready to start posting for the new year! I will be starting off with posting twice a month for the next 3 months to get it started! In between, I may do a few short stories to keep it from having too much of a lull before my classes start up again for university. We will see how things flow for the new course load before I make any adjustments to the posting schedule so as to not burn myself out. Either way, I am excited to finally start sharing the story I have been boasting about for the last few months. I hope my Christmas special gave a good flavour to how it’s going to be and really can’t wait to hear from you all!
Last on my roster of announcements is the new contest I am hosting! To help bring some people to the blog and encourage subscriptions, I will be creating a custom character of a Turnip for a lucky winner! Right beside my Turnip, you will have space on the front page for everyone to see your personalized character! The rules are pretty simple and with each benchmark, you will be able to have a chance to win up to 5 times. So if you don’t win, it's ok! You will have another chance. Look out for future chances to add an extra name to the draw as I will be making a cool little contest for anyone who wants to part take. For now, the first benchmark is to make 25 subscribers. Well, that was it for the announcements. I know it wasn’t much since I’ve been plugging away at writing and editing. I am super excited for what’s to come in the new year and I hope you all are too! Let’s get this Raga-rootling army growing and see who wins the first turnip drawing!
